May 27th -Childhood and Adult Blows

1999:  Didn’t want to stay at Edons but mum had to go to work.  She always says that.  She doesn’t have to stay with me though does she?  We went to toddlers and I was very tired when we got back, I sat on the chair and said ‘bed’.  Nanny picked me up this afternoon as mum has gone to Cambridge and found me in the garden as usual when she got back.  We stayed for tea and then went home but I kicked mum in the face when she was getting me out of the car.  She told me to get in and that I would be going straight to bed – then she walked into the kitchen!  I had to say ‘mum, bed’, that made her laugh and my honesty got me off!  She put some washing on and then I went to bed.

2019:  Bank holiday! No work for me but is for Zof so I had to take her in as her car is in the garage after she reversed 15 meters, over grass and gravel to hit a lamp post! This bank holiday last year I got my own kick in the face when the consultant panned my Thailand and Oz travels. It  took a while to realise he was right. Another chapter began!

I may do stupid things and make light of them but deep down there’s a reason and I love exploration, even if I cannot fully understand the outcome!
