1999: Hectic day at Edon’s running around and, when mum came to collect me at four I was sound asleep in the buggy! I awoke at six on the settee at home – she definitely should have called me Mr. Benn! I gave mum a big cuddle while I drank juice and then mum fed me pasta, whilst I sat there like lord muck. We played in the garden and I played with a water pistol Uncle Teddy found me yesterday. Mum reckons he give me the best of things (I couldn’t agree more!)) Splat. What’s up mum? You look a bit wet. We played a little one on one footy but I soon got fed up. All this ‘kick it with the side of your foot’ and ‘stop the ball with your feet’ and ‘now use your right foot’. It’s a bit too much to bear, especially when accompanied by a laughable demonstration by mum. I don’t mind when Uncle Teddy does it, but mum you know there are some things that just need to be left to the boys okay?! I had a bath with mum and then she got all dressed up to go out -without me! I’m not impressed. Nanny came round to look after me and she stayed the night.
2019: Work today. Text mum to see if we could go round for tea and I happen to ask on a steak night. Unfortunately Zof and I didn’t see eye to eye on the way home from work so I went to mums alone. I did bring steak back in a doggy bag though (with my tail between my legs)
